Installation costs typically range from 15,000 to 45,000 THB depending on your home electrical system, the distance to the parking spot, and the charger brand. MEA and PEA offer specific "EV Meter" installation packages that might require some electrical upgrades to your main breaker panel.

Thailand has over 15,000 public DC fast-charging stations. The EV Charging Corridor connects Chiang Mai to Phuket via Route 3 and Mittraphap Highway. Use apps like PTT EV Station PluZ, EA Anywhere, or PEA VOLTA to find stations.

Under the EV 3.5 program, the Thai government offers subsidies up to 100,000 THB for locally assembled BEVs with battery capacity above 50 kWh. Import duty exemptions and 80% reduction in annual road tax are also available for EVs registered between 2024 and 2026.
